Katie is one of my dearest friends. She and Bryan compliment each other perfectly. When Bryan asked me to help him propose to Katie I couldn't have been happier for them! When they asked me to plan the wedding at the Lafayette AND be in the bridal party (eep!) I was a bit nervous but confident that the wedding would be amazing.
She and Bryan invited their combined large family and extended Theater family (they are both musical theater performers) so they wanted to save money where they could. By using an iPod for music and creating a DIY photo booth with an iPad they managed to create a customized and wildly entertaining experience without breaking their bank.
Katie's personal style is very clean and chic so that was carried over into the Bridal Party styling and the overall feel of the evening. Color choices were light and gave the reception a garden party feel. Katie and Bryan included over 1000 hand folded paper cranes (traditionally thought to grant a thousand years of happiness and prosperity upon the couple) in their decor for both the ceremony and reception.
Mix all that together with the couple's love for books and a dash of Disney whimsy you have an exquisite event that will be remembered by all who attended for years to come.
